PWInsider reports that the company was not happy about the language Maddox used during a dark match promo at Tuesday’s SmackDown tapings. Maddox using the phrase “cocky pricks” was specifically cited as something that upset people in the company and the decision was made to release him today.

I think Kevin Owens can draw, if they book him right. It doesn't matter if he is slow in the ring, you doing have to be Speedy Gonzales to make things interesting.

The current way he is, is very interesting. Vince Russo knows nothing about wrestling, all he does is buries the guys that have come from the independent scene. Btw Russo is the last person people should go for an opinion, he is that one that destroyed WCW and can't take the blame for anything he has done.
